My other names and tags

My name's abang erfan, pronounced ah·bahng air·fahn, you can call me erfan for short. There are a couple people who call me abang but that's pretty much a... family name? Afaik there isn't a clear analogue between malay malaysian names to the western firstnamelastname format of names. You can also call me kurt since that's the screenname i roll with, and definitely nothing else.

Random facts

• Did i mention i'm malaysian? Born and raised in Kuching, Sarawak too, to be exact.
• I speak a lot more english than malay and sarawakian because of reasons.
  • Boleh je cakap melayu, klaka swak dpt juak but don't expect me to do nonenglish presentations.
• I go by kurt in most online circles because there's less ambiguity in pronunciation.
• I'm down to play with/for you if i'm free and not tired! Just reach out!

  A: studying and working music related fields
• Q: Oh cool so how many instruments can you play?
  A: i studied and work violin/piano/composition stuff mostly, but i can survive a jam sesh on drum and bass and record/produce a decent demo. probably.
• Q: What genre/artist is your fav? What are you listening to?
  A: I grew up on post 2000s american and british mathrock but i try to listen to a lil bit of everything.
• Q: It's midday in our tropical country, do you not feel hot in that hoodie?
  A: no
• Q: Why are you growing out your hair?
  A: because i don't like haircuts.

  A: i was playing a MMORPG in 2011(?) and couldn't think of a username so i stole the name of the author of something i was reading at the time, and it's stuck ever since
